Was set up in 1999 to continue
to work towards an end to conflict in South Africa, the eradication of poverty
and to improve the health of the people, particularly in the fight against
HIV/Aids. It is working with traditional leaders in communities with HIV/Aids
to try to raise awareness of the disease and its prevention. It has also
launched a National Rural Schools Programme to promote and encourage education.
