Transient Film Exchange

Information:

With support from the Prince's Trust and The Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund, two brothers from West London (Ash and Naeem Mahmood) set up Transient Film Exchange. The organisation aims to help demonstrate the positive contribution that young refugees can make to the UK and also build a better understanding of refugee communities by utilising film and video as a means of self expression.

Participants are able to collaborate with local filmmakers and young people of the host communities receiving training in film and video production in order to produce films documenting their experiences as well as a broad range of other issues. The result has been outstanding including one of the films called 'Home Sweet Home' becoming a finalist in LWT's 'Whose London?' competition.
