The National Society for Epilepsy's
(NSE) is the UK's largest provider of epilepsy services. It's mission is
to enhance the quality of life of people affected by epilepsy, by promoting
research, education and public awareness and by delivering specialist medical
care and support services. The NSE runs a confidential helpline from Monday
to Friday 10am - 4pm and has a comprehensive range of information leaflets
on many aspects of living and coping with epilepsy. The charity also runs
self-management courses for people living with a long term medical condition
(the Living Well Project) and operates a nationwide information service
in local healthcare settings (the Epilepsy Information Network - EIN).
