Walk the Walk came into being
six years ago when just 13 women power walked The New York Marathon in their
bras to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. In the spring
of 1998 a Walk the Walk team entered the London Marathon. The Moonwalk has
since become a major annual event. It is committed to raising funds for
breast cancer research and more recently for holistic cancer care.
