The Devon Air Ambulance came
into operation in August 1992. At that time there were only two other Air
Ambulances in the country, now are at present 18 Air Ambulances covering
a large percentage of the country. Devon's new Air Ambulance went into service
on 5th August 2004, thanks to the generosity and support of the people and
businesses of Devon.
