Information:

Development in Action runs 2-month summer schemes and our 5-month Year Out
scheme volunteering with Development NGOs in India. The work volunteers are
involved in varies at each placement, but includes: formal and non-formal education, work with disability groups, work with women's groups/micro-credit unions, environmental work, fieldwork/research and fundraising/administration.
During their placements, candidates get hands-on experience of grassroot
development, and are encouraged to engage in the wider issue of global
citizenship. Each volunteer is supported building on their experiences to
produce awareness-raising or development education resources.
