Let me see, where did I talked up to, oh yea here we go; I was talking to volunteers, staffs and members. While I talking to the staffs, there was one little girl that was very chatty, lucky I like to talk to people and I like to listen or she will bored me to sleep. Honestly she is a very nice and kind person; let’s move on, we can talk about all the bad things about her later.
We talk and talk and talk and talk {Zzzzz}, bored… ok, let go the main chatting point. She said ‘I am looking for a young, handsome, intelligent and clever little boy to organize this year youth Christmas party’. You do not believe me… ok; I tell you the truth, she didn’t say intelligent and clever. I like to keep the handsome part, it sound good. You guess it right I add it on, she only said ‘young little boy’.
I like organizing party; I have to be honest about my experience. I told her that I haven’t got any experience but she said ‘Just try, you will not be alone, we will help you’. I got nothing to lose so I accept the offer to organize the Christmas party. After, yes you know it; I become the team leader of the Youth Christmas Party 2004 for Camden Chinese Community Centre.
I almost forgot if you wondering did I ever regret going to the badminton competition, I can honestly answer you, NO. I am very happy that my friend keeps on annoying to go to the badminton competition. I thank him very much.
Don’t fall asleep now; the next part will be very interesting. This where you find out the reasons why I continue being a volunteer and how it change my life.
