OK, I  failed with my first attempt at  a blog so hope this  works. It's good to know that even at my age I can find new and exciting challenges and opportunities and experiences.

One of these - not so much a challenge but more of an experience will be taking part in my first sponsored  run - Race for Life on June 1st.

Hard to believe that this life long sports nut hasn't done it before. I'm looking forweard to a great day out with the girls, a good strong run ( cant help but set myself a target..) and the fun of a big event.

Cancer Research UK is a charity I wholeheartedly support as I know of many who have succumbed to the disease in one form or another.

Those Bushy Park runs on a freezing winter days and beautiful spring evenings with only the deer for company!
