Great Eastern Run, Peterborough Create new blog
Greatv Eastern Run, Peterborough Come and join us - run in our superb home town Half Marathon!  Deafblind UK are recruiting runners now who would like to take part in the Peterborough Half Marathon.

In 2006, after 10 years, the Great Eastern Run returned to the racing calendar and was a sensational success. In 2007, it returned as an awarding winning gold status race and in 2008, Deafblind UK look forward to helping make it even bigger and better!

The course starts at Peterborough’s Cathedral Square on 12 October and sees you running the flat streets of the City and the local surrounding area. It is a smooth, but challenging course, testing a runner’s stamina and endurance throughout the 13.1 miles.

If you are looking to challenge yourself in 2008, as well as raising funds for Deafblind UK, this is the perfect opportunity. At Deafblind UK we are celebrating our 80th birthday and believe this local event is the perfect way to celebrate, so join us today!
