Stay with me now, do not go anywhere. They are more fun and exciting things coming up.
Let me show you another gift from another centre. Yup let’s move to a new centre, this new family is called Chinese Mental Health Association (CMHA). Guess what I am the baby in this new family… you will understand what I mean later.
Let me see where should I start… oh yea, let start with how join this big happy family.
Guess what, I have to thank that girl that joined this big family, remember that girl, the one involve me in organizing the Christmas party, surprise? You will be more surprised if I told you that it me that ask her to introduce me to another community centre. When I ask if she knows any community I can help, she answered:
‘You can try the Chinese Mental Health Association, their handle people with mental problem. Do you want to try it?’
I never work with people with mental health or any disabilities but how hard it is… yup, like always I am very cocky.
You must be thinking why a lazy bum like me would want to spend more time on other people. Now I see thing and think differently. I will show you a totally different view about volunteering; I will show you being a volunteer can be enjoyable.
My first mission is to find the centre, like always I very bad with direction and I deferent will get lost getting to new location. You guess right, I got lost. Don’t blame me, it not my fault this time, the door was very small and you can miss it. Eventually I found the centre, I bet you want to know how long it took me to find the place… try to guess.
Let not talk about that, let move on. I went in the centre and met another girl, she very nice to talk to and very kind. I always wonder if meet for the first time dose she always be nice and sound very sweet. When we know each other well she start to be very mean and bully me… or is it just me… I think it just me.
Let talk about something else or she will bully me again. The next part is about me joining a big family.
