Hello and thanks for visiting my blog,
My name is Haroon Mota. I am doing some work for charity, so I hope you can read on support my cause.
I will be taking part in the K2 challenge in August 2008 to raise money for orphans worldwide. The challenge requires me to endure a strenuous expedition consisting of a 2 week trek to the basecamp of K2 reaching an altitude of 18,000 feet. K2 is the second highest mountain on Earth, located in the Himalayan mountain range at the Pakistan and China border, with a summit elevated at 28,250 feet.
I am aiming to raise at least £10,000 by July 2008 and would really welcome your support. All funds that are raised will contribute to the Islamic Relief's Orphans General Fund which supports orphans worldwide with finance, clothing, food, shelter, education and medical care.
