Carbon Army: Recruiting Now Create new blog

The Copenhagen summit is just around the corner.  So for those interested in taking practical action on a local level to reduce their carbon footprint here's some news from BTCV about Carbon Army which they are launching today:

"During December BTCV's Carbon Army will be taking frontline action on climate change. Carbon Army members will be volunteering at BTCV local food growing project to reduce the carbon impact of food miles while others will be helping to conserve urban green spaces to keep cities cool.

BTCV's vision is a better environment where people are valued, included and involved.  We support communities all over the UK, and beyond, in taking practical action on climate change.

Join our Carbon Army at www.btcv.org/carbonarmy and find out how you can take local action on a global problem."

Hi John. As you so rightly say individual action, however small, is the best way to go. If you think of the totality of climate change, paralysis sets in. That's my thinking, anyway!

I'll check out yr website, I'm guilty of minimalist recycling!!
