A group of 100 volunteers managed to plant more than 20,000 trees in an hour as part of the Woodland Trust and BBC Breathing Places Tree O'Clock event in Essex.

A team from community group Give Love Find Love team were joined by three other teams of 25 volunteers at Hainault Forest in Essex, to try and break the Guinness world record of planting 18,400 trees in an hour.

The teams assembled between 11am and midday on Saturday and planted 20,314 trees to exceed the world record target.

The world record attempt aimed to raise awareness of the work of the Woodland Trust, which campaigns to protect woodlands and plant new woods throughout the UK to support biodiversity, attract animals and soak up carbon dioxide emissions.

Just imagine what could be done in one year as we have got the man power alone to do what ever we like.
