About Volunteer Lancashire |
|
Are you living in Lancashire and looking for a New Years resolution that offers more than you think?
Volunteer Health Month Lancashire showcases a range of local opportunities with health-related voluntary and community groups throughout Lancashire.
If you've made a New Years resolution to make more of a difference in 2007, then take a look at whats on offer that you could be doing in a health related charity. There's something to suit all ages and backgrounds.
Our planned activities encourage people to give time, highlighting a variety of ways to make a healthy difference in the North West. Inspirational tales of extraordinary volunteers from charities such as Mencap, St. Johns Ambulance, Scope, Samaritans, Attend, WRVS, Age Concern, The National Trust and CEMVO are working with Community Channel to motivate those considering doing something new in 2007.
The campaign harnesses people's interest and passion for a healthier way of living. It highlights ways in which you can get actively involved in your community.
Volunteer Health Month Lancashire provides opportunities to further learning and knowledge by broadening and utilising experience. Everyone has a lot to offer - and volunteering has a lot to offer you. Important new skills can be gained while contributing to a voluntary group - making job hunting easier.
