People are coming up with new ways to help us live a greener life. This new series travels the globe discovering innovative green projects and provides helpful tips on protecting our fragile planet.
The series starts on Thursday 10 May @ 9am. Watch the trailer.
Think Green: Week 1
 Leonardo Di Caprio In the opening programme, Think Green has been with the celebrities in Los Angeles to get the views of Tom Hanks, Jack Black and Leonardo Di Caprio on the environment.
At this fundraising event, watch out for a special guest appearance by U.S. president George W. Bush!
The programme also goes to Japan to look at how dressing down can affect carbon emissions. In Canada they're creating bio oil from woodchip. And in Argentina they're harnessing the strong west winds using wind turbines and getting energy to remote farming areas.
Think Green: Week 2
In the second programme, Think Green looks at the use of sustainable energies and discovers how a physics teacher from Uruguay is motoring cleanly with his air powered engine.
In London the Craft Council are pointing the way to eco friendly fashion. Also in Gloucestershire 22 architects combine cutting edge technology and sustainable resources to develop eco-friendly housing. And in Northeast China the first sustainable village is developed under the Cradle to Cradle theory.
Think Green: Week 3
 Creating Bio fuels Looking at the creation of Bio products and fuels Think Green goes to Middlesbrough to hear how the creation of bio fuels were started by an idea developed in the 1900s, whilst in Hyde Park the first solar powered boat, the solar shuttle, is launched and the Science Museum shows us what to do with our old mobile phones.
However, it is the new electric car, the Blobject, in Spain that really captures the imagination of green thinking in this episode.
Think Green: Week 4
Programme four delves into waste energy and looks at cutting the waste produced around the world. In India pollution and waste is have a huge impact on villages and by trying to turn the waste into energy they hope to improve a dire situation.
Greenpeace also exposes the threat of e-waste through their controversial 'e-waste wave' at the eighth International High-Tech expo in Beijing and in England Think Green looks at making the most out of wood chippings.
Think Green: Week 5
 Easy off graffiti spray In the fifth programme Think Green visits the Bugatti building at Coventry University were John Jostins explains about new hydrogen cell fuels and introduces us to the future of hydrogen travel.
And in Beijing, top designers come together to solve the serious problem of wasting water at the upcoming 2008 Olympic Games, through the invention of eco-friendly toilets!
Think Green: Week 6
 Creating an urban garden In episode six Think Green is looking to break the mould! In California, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger joins Teslamotors to combine eco friendly thinking with ergonomic design to come up with the new electric roadster.
The programme goes to Holland where a unique method of flower breeding is used to grow more eco–friendly plants. In Japan they're showing off the latest in bio-degradable plastics at the annual eco-products show. And solar powered ovens are on the agenda in Chile as we get an insight into how things could be ‘greener’ in today's world.
