These are the Terms and Conditions for the free Prize Draw for the Channel's Plastic Bag Photo Competition 20 June - 20 July 2007
1. The competition is open to all UK-based participants who upload or send a photo in the requested format and size. Employees (or family members of employees) of any Media Trust company, companies associated with the Promotion and/or affiliates of such companies (collectively “the Companies”) may not enter.
2. To take part in the competition you need to successfully upload or send your photo to us by 16 July 2007.
The top five photos selected by the Channel judging panel as the best, environmentally friendly, use of a plastic bag will be posted on the Channel website 16 - 20 July 2007 for the public vote to take place.
3. Unless stated otherwise there is only one entry per person.
4. Closing date for entries is midnight on Monday 16 July 2007.
5. The winner will be the entry with the highest votes from the shortlist of entries.
6. The winner will be notified by email or by post shortly after 20 July 2007.
7. The prize is an Anya Hindmarch 'I'm NOT a Plastic Bag' bag and the book: 'Change the World for a Fiver'.
8. There is no cash alternative to the prize (or any part of them) and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prize is non-refundable and non transferable.
9. The terms and conditions of any third party supplier will apply to the prize where applicable.
10. The Channel will not be liable for prizes that do not reach the winners for reasons beyond our reasonable control.
11. If any winner is not able, for whatever reason, to accept a prize, then the Channel reserves the right to award the prize to another participant.
12. Participants in the competition must be resident in the United Kingdom.
13. Images submitted in the competition must be the entrant's copyright. The Channel is not responsible for any breaches of copyright in this competition. The images submitted remain the entrant's copyright, and will be available for display on this website for one month after the end of the competition, or longer with permission of the entrant.
13. The Channel's decision is final and legally binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry rules and conditions will be disqualified.
14. The name and photograph of the winner may be used by the Channel and its associated companies - with discretion and consultation with the winner - for post-event publicity purposes.
15. The Channel will keep details of any entry that you make. By entering the competition you allow us to see this information which may be used by the Channel for market research purposes and to send you information by email about our products/services.
