Whatever skills you think you need now or in the future, there’s never been a better time to get them. You can improve your skills in a number of ways; both on and off the job, in the classroom or out.

But did you know that a great way of learning new skills and having fun is through volunteering?

Working with a voluntary organisation or charity can provide you with training, useful experience and even a recognised qualification. And during October you can try one of our FREE taster volunteer sessions in your local area.

The Skills through Volunteering campaign is working together to transform skills with:

Attend, Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network (ASDAN), British Red Cross, Do-it.org.uk, Greater London Volunteering, Learn Direct, Learning Skills Council, Mentoring and Befriending Foundation, NIACE, Mencap, Scope, The Food Chain , Time Banks UK, UK online centres, Volunteering England.
