QED: Challenging Children
Follow one family's journey to the USA to get intensive treatment for their son who has autism. Follow one family's journey through the Option institute's 'Son-Rise Programme' in Massachusetts.

The film starts by showing Peter and Jackie Broadwick together with their children, Jamie, who has autism, and Charlotte at home in the UK and on family outings.

It shows how life with Jamie can be difficult as well as rewarding and how the family decided to travel to Massachusetts to participate in a two-week intensive training programme at the Option Institute, which specialises in treatments for autism.

The Broadwick family are also filmed six months after their trip to the States and we discover how positive progress was made and how life is now for Jamie and the family.

It offers a compelling insight into living with an autistic child and how it effects the whole family.
