Swimming Your Sport is a new series which starts on Community Channel on 22 September 2008 and we want you to get involved.
If you’re involved in Community Sport and have made a film about it get in contact with us.
Your Sport
We are launching a weekly show - Your Sport - that celebrates the personal and community benefits of grassroots sport. It has been devised with media industry backing (from the BBC, ITV and Channel 4) and is supported by major players in community sport.
We would like the audience to participate in the show by providing their own footage.
Your Film
Badminton We want distinctive films about the power of community sport. Are you telling a story about how, when, where and why a club or project started or giving a personal account of those people who use and benefit from it?
Contributions can be any length from 2-minutes right through to a 1-hour documentary.
If you are considering making a film and need advice have a look at our film-maker’s guide.
We prefer films to be delivered on tape - DV Cam, DVC Pro, Mini DV, Beta SP or Digi Beta. If you are sending a film electronically a Quicktime file is acceptable. We can accept DVD but only as a last resort.
Send your films to: Dominic Cotton, Community Channel, 2nd Floor, Riverwalk House, 157-161 Millbank, London, SW1P 4RR.
For more information email yoursport@communitychannel.org.
