Swimming Your Voice. Your Community. Your Sport If you’re involved in Community Sport and have made a film about it Community Channel wants to hear from you.
Your Sport
We are launching a show - Your Sport - that will celebrate the personal and community benefits of grassroots sport. It has been devised with media industry backing (from the BBC, ITV and Channel 4) and is supported by major players in community sport.
Audience participation will be integral to the show in the form of user-generated content. This is where you come in.
Your Film
If you’ve got a film or are planning to make one and would like it to get it on TV we want to hear from you.
Badminton We want distinctive films about the power of community sport. Are you telling a story about how, when, where and why a club or project started or giving a personal account of those people who use and benefit from it?
Contributions can be any length from 2-minutes right through to a 1-hour documentary.
If you are considering making a film and need advice have a look at our film-maker’s guide.
We prefer films to be delivered on tape - DV Cam, DVC Pro, Mini DV, Beta SP or Digi Beta. If you are sending a film electronically a Quicktime file is acceptable. We can accept DVD but only as a last resort.
Send your films to: Dominic Cotton, Community Channel, 2nd Floor, Riverwalk House, 157-161 Millbank, London, SW1P 4RR.
For more information email yoursport@communitychannel.org.
