The answer to the question: in which African country does Afrikids, the child rights organisation featured in the programme "How to Make a Difference in Africa" work? was Ghana.

Congratulation to our three main winners : Sonia T from London, Roger A from London, Nicola C from Manchester, each of whom receives a DVD of the one hour documentary How to Make a Difference in Africa and a copy of The Urgency of Now.

We have also drawn up four runners up, who have won a copy of The Urgency of Now and these are: Nicola A from Bolton, Rachel S from Edinburgh, Dianne P from Lincs and Hayley W from Cardiff.

We had a large number of entries to win Jane and Mike Tomlinson's latest book.  The answer to the question was: Jane set up the Leeds 10k Run for All.

The answer to the question was Australia - Valerie Browning's (Afar Angel) native country.

Bonita Competition

The answer to the question: how much does the average Los Alamos worker in the film Bonita Ugly Bananas earn per day? was of course 3 dollars. 

There were five prize winners each of whom received Confessions of an Eco-Sinner by Fred Pearce.

Mandela Competition

There were 528 entries in our Meeting Mandela Competition.  The answer to who narrated the film was Beyonce Knowles.  All the five winners were thrilled to get his autobiography Long Walk to Freedom.

One winner, Amanda B from Camborne, said it's one of those books she's always wanted to read but never got round to it.

Congratulations to the other winners: Nigel P from Stoke-on-Trent, Jenny T from Peterborough, Charlotte T from Eastleigh, and Toni S from Milton Keynes.

Our Alex James in Africa Competition had more than 470 entries and his new occupation as many of you knew was 'farmer'.  Signed copies of his autobiography, Bit of a Blur

Nathalie R from Cheadle and Ken S from Sittingbourne - the first two correct answers drawn - also won a Green Tomato Kit, so here's hoping they're inspired by the tips in Alex's film in Burkina Faso!
