For Your Film 09, Mediabox teamed up with Bebo and the Daily Mirror to hunt for inspiring new filmmakers aged between 13 and 19.

Based on their written proposals, each selected winner got a grant, an all expenses paid workshop and the chance to be mentored by top industry professionals before having their films shown online and on TV!

Your Film 09 features the winning films and runners up in a programme presented by Abi Griffiths.

Part One:
There are two dramas. Stalk'd is a drama which proves that the course of true "love" never runs smooth. And Choosing Careers is a drama in which a vision of the future helps our star choose which way she wants her life to go.

Part Two:
2 Spirit looks at the trauma of leaving family and friends behind when moving house. Rights Not Wrongs is a short documentary that asks if knife crime is being used as an excuse by the State to 'stop and search' at will. And Untitled looks at the need for local community groups and workshops to keep young people occupied.

Part Three - the top 3 winning entries:
In third place the judges selected The Lash, a short drama about peer pressure and teenage drinking. In second place came Oil and Energy Saving, a film which looks at what we can all do in our homes to save the environment. My Story of C - The Winner of YourFilm 09 - follows 17 year old Jazzy de Lisser as she shares her experience of treating her Hepatitis C.
