This year - 2010 - is the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, and the anniversary has become Holocaust Memorial Day which is marked on 27 January each year.
Community Channel is showing three new programmes - The Long March, Surviving History, and Legacy of Hope - as well as two programmes which have already been shown on the Channel.

This film looks at the work of the charity which draws on the power of Anne Frank's diary to teach people, especially the young, about mutual respect and appreciating each other's differences, particularly in ethnicity, religion and culture.
Legacy of Hope - 8.40am/11.20am/6.30pm
The film is narrated by actor Daniel Radcliffe, and focuses on survivors' stories. Each of the Holocaust survivors featured – Ben Helfgott, Iby Knill and Lily Ebert – talk about their experiences and share their feelings of hope.
