Ghana is a fertile land, with an abundance of natural resources. It's the sort of country which, given the right conditions, could easily feed its own population. But the conditions aren't right.

The country isn't full of farmers busily producing food. Because of cheap imports, farmers struggle to make a living and go off in search of other ways to keep their families.

Ronan Keating travels the West African country to discover why this is the case and why local farmers cannot afford to send their children to school despite the Ghanaian governments efforts to curtail the influx of cheap foreign food.
