Charity VoiceWhat you'll get in the Charity Voice podcast

[Vodcast] Channel 4, Red Foundation, MySpace and others share their ways of increasing youth participation in charities, and raising charity awareness among the hard-to-reach youth market at a Successful Youth Marketing event.

[Podcast]Richard Gaisford is the Chief Correspondent at GMTV. He explains the way a daytime TV programme works, what goes on in a TV producer's mind, and how to ensure that your message gets on the show.

[Podcast]Denise Merideth is an international charity campaigns consultant. Working with some of the largest charities, Denise talks about how to use charity campaigns effectively, and gives examples of when it works, and when it doesn't.

[Podcast]Lisa Smosarski is the Editor at Bliss magazine. She explains the part that teenage magazines take in young people's lives, and how to effectively use
that audience to get your message across.

[Vodcast]Paul Caplan runs the Internationale, a consultancy specialising in helping organisations harness the power of the read/write Web. The Internationale has advised media companies, national and local Government, charities and arts organisations before, during and after the dotcom boom. This video is available to download through iTunes or by following the link above, or alternatively, Watch Now in the player at the top of the page.

Remember - you can attend these sessions, ask questions, network with colleagues, and hear from the other speakers. Just visit http://www.mediatrust.org/ and book your place online at one of our events.

SeminarMore information about podcasts

Podcasting lets you automatically receive the latest edition of the audio as soon as it is available. You need to "subscribe" to receive a podcast, rather like you might subscribe to a magazine and get it delivered each week.

In order to sign up for a podcast you need an internet connection and a piece of podcast software which is usually available free of charge. This software can check the Community Channel's site for new editions and automatically download them for you.

The steps you go though in order to subscribe to a podcast will vary depending on which software you choose.

For more information and a handy step-by-step guide, read the BBC's guide to podcasting.
