YMA campaign for more balanced reporting of young people outside Royal Court of Justice Youth Media Agency wil be leading a submission to the Leveson Inquiry for more balanced reporting of children & young people.

The aim is to get the Leveson Inquiry which is at the moment investigating the media to make changes to the Press Complaints Commission and Editors Code.

Youth Media belive that "although press freedom is essential, we need balanced reporting so pople are aware of the valuable and positive contributions children and young people make to UK society"

The social enterprise has mangaed to to get over 60 organisations including BYC, NCB, NYA, NCVYS, YMCA, The Scouts and the Media Trust, to endorse four recommendations. Click here to see

UK Youth, Truth About Youth and Oval House Theatre also supports YMA.
