Talent Studio

Community Channel’s Talent Studio gives young people from disadvantaged backgrounds the skills, support and resources to tell positive stories about issues that matter to them through their own short films. Their films will be broadcast on a range of platforms including Community Channel.

Talent Studio is funded by the National Lottery through Big Lottery Fund and is delivered in partnership with The Prince’s Trust Fairbridge programme and Catch22.

 Over two years, more than 500 young people will take part in an accredited filmmaking course and gain an Arts Award qualification.  They will also have the chance to pursue further opportunities in the media industry and beyond, through work experience placements with Media Trust’s corporate partners, and access to media industry mentors. Talent Studio is led by young people at every stage.
