Talent Studio beneficiary goes to Party Conferences

We are sending Neil White, a Talent Studio beneficiary from one of Bury’s most deprived areas, to this year’s political party conferences. Neil will be given unprecedented access to senior politicians, enabling him to address some of the big issues facing the community and charity sector, from funding cuts and the recent riots to social mobility and unemployment.

To prepare Neil for on his journey into the political arena he is being mentored by acclaimed political journalist Adam Boulton, Political Editor, Sky News. His journey will be documented by The Times and Sky News.

Neil is one of over 500 young people to have benefited from our Talent Studio initiative. The scheme gives young people from disadvantaged backgrounds the skills, support and resources to tell positive stories about issues that matter to them.
