Inspiring short film series looking at charity and community leaders’ personal ‘eureka’ moments.

Emma Bonfield – e:merge
Emma Bonfield is a community based youth worker for Bradford based charity e:merge. Emma lives and works in an area called Underhill, and for the past 3 years has been committed to developing innovative and engaging sessions for young people who are experiencing some amazing transformations in their personal circumstances.

Martin Lawrence — The Eve Merton Dreams Trust
Martin Lawrence and Clynton Johnson founded The Eve Merton Dreams Trust in mid-2011, just 6 months after the sad loss of Martins mother Eve to cancer. It aims to raise funds for other serious & terminally ill cancer patients in their local area, to turn the grief from the loss of Eve into a positive for others suffering the same ill affects she did. Martin aims to be able to give families a special moment to remember during a time they need it the most, a trip, a family photo, a special visit or a life-long dream.

Emma Casson — Homegrown Food Festival, Northallerton
As a member of the Homegrown Food Group, Emma is passionate about raising the profile of locally produced food and drink and works in a small team of dedicated volunteers every year to do just this. Her ambition is for communities to become more self-sufficient through the revival of local economies, for people to be inspired to shop locally and to have
a go at growing fruit and vegetables at home. She is a firm believer in the power of individuals and small groups to bring about change within their community.

John Leaver
JADE (Just Another Dance Event)
John Leaver works for JADE, an award winning young peoples organisation; they have a modern day youth centre, provide dynamic courses and training in schools and in-turn change the life opportunities of young people. It is a fresh and innovative environment for young people and for the new generation of DJ’s in the area.
