LGBT Asylum Seekers
Many LGBT people come to our country every year, trying to escape the persecution they face in their own countries over their sexuality. However, the UK Border Agency has been criticised by some for not providing support and not believing their stories. Movement for Justice has been campaigning for asylum rights for many years now and our reporter Alex MacDonald looks at what is being done to help ease the controversy over lesbian and gay asylum seekers
Many feel, at present, that the music industry does not really cater to younger audiences – especially children under 12 years old. Two working mothers felt compelled to release a kid's music album featuring lyrical content designed for kids.
