Untold Stories - Overgate Hospice

In this film we meet patients, and their families, staff and one former patient who now volunteers at the hospice where volunteers provide entertainment, aromatherapy, craft workshops and many other services for the patients.

Overgate Hospice provides specialist palliative care for adults in the Calderdale area. All patients have a life-limiting, advanced, progressive illness.

Their aim is to care for the whole person to give them the best possible quality of life. They provide support for their families and carers. Treatment is based upon an approach that treats each person as an individual. They care for the "whole person" including their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. Their service is open to all who meet our eligibility criteria, regardless of race or creed.
